18 Sep Warranty and Support Policy Change

Fortinet will be updating our warranty and support policy on 9.1.15 to reflect security industry standards and improve service to our partners and customers.  These changes will benefit our customers by providing increased protection. For our partners, this policy change provides opportunity for more robust management of services and support opportunities.

Activation for products and services purchased and shipped from Fortinet on or after 9.1.15 will now begin with the first occurrence of the below: (1) Registration of unit, (2) Unit connects to FortiGuard Service for updates, or (3) 60 Days after Shipment from Fortinet.   Renewals will be based on the support start date as outlined.
