We are looking for a Battery Engineer to design a large-scale battery for high power electric vehicles.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • 5+ years of work experience on Battery design with power electronics (e.g. high voltage/current converters, inverters, etc.)
  • PCB schematics and comfortable with basic hardware tasks (soldering components, adding jumpers, harness wiring, etc.)
  • SW diagnosis
  • Power distribution and control systems
  • Must have product engineering experience in PCBA, electrical design solutions, building and testing highly reliable digital/analog circuits, & embedded systems.
  • With analytical-based solid design skills and performing analysis
  • Extensive experience interfacing and managing external suppliers
  • Ability to understand electrical and mechanical drawings
  • EMI design and testing
  • Experience in taking power electronics designs from concept, to requirements definition and component selection, to simulation, to prototype, to test, and production implementation
  • Action-oriented, displays behaviors that demonstrate ownership in the success of the company· Evaluates existing work processes and initiates practices to promote continuous improvement


  • Develop AC and DC HV charging control strategies and requirements definition for global markets
  • Assemble models for verification of electric vehicle charging system for on-vehicle and off-vehicle cloud systems
  • Design PCB layout of complex multi-layer rigid boards, including DFMEA and PFMEA
  • Design for compliance to safety requirements, global standards and regulations, diagnostics, EMI and other specifications
  • Support embedded software engineers by providing verified system models
  • Work with engineers across the company for technology improvements Develop test plans and lead technical reviews for compliance and safety
