Reporting to the CTO, the Electrical Engineer will play a key role in the design, development, and validation of electrical hardware, embedded firmware, PCB systems, and power electronics for Foreseeson’s Battery Repurposing & Energy Storage initiatives. The successful candidate will contribute to engineering design activities covering high-voltage EV battery repurposing, battery management system (BMS) integration, control circuits, and advanced PCB development.

 

This role requires an engineer who is technically strong, innovative, and comfortable working across multiple disciplines including electronics, firmware, electrical safety, system integration, and test engineering. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support prototype development, regulatory compliance, system testing, and transition to production.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Hardware Development

  • Design, develop, and optimize schematics and multilayer PCBs for battery repurposing systems, battery management system interface circuits, EV charger communication circuits, power conversion hardware, and control modules.
  • Perform electrical calculations, component selection, load analysis, and circuit optimization for high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) systems.
  • Design circuits involving CAN bus, RS485/Modbus, high-voltage protection, sensing circuits, DC-DC converters, current measurement, and power distribution.
  • Create detailed electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, harness layouts, and system schematics using industry-standard tools.
  • Build and test prototypes, validate PCB and firmware performance, and troubleshoot issues.
  • Support R&D activities and contribute to design reviews, risk assessments, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
  • Design test jigs and fixtures for battery, inverter, and electronics testing.
  • Work with PCB manufacturers and assembly technicians during prototyping and mass production.
  • Support development of new energy storage systems (ESS).
  • Design and validate battery protection features including contactor control, fuse sizing, insulation monitoring, and thermal management.
  • Participate in testing of EV batteries for state of health verification, cycle performance, safety, and degradation analysis.
  • Collaborate on the development of master control circuits for multi-inverter coordination.
  • Support development of HV safety systems, grounding schemes, and compliance with CSA/UL/IEC standards.
  • Prepare engineering procedures, test reports, and documentation required for regulatory certification.
  • Assist in BOM creation, supplier sourcing, and component lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and modeling teams to ensure successful integration with 3D product designs.
  • Work with vendors to support high-volume manufacturing and production testing.
  • Maintain organized documentation, adhere to change management processes, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Firmware / Software Development

  • Develop, test, and debug firmware for microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, ESP32, or similar platforms).
  • Implement communication protocols including CAN, LIN, UART, I2C, SPI, and RS485 for BMS communication and system monitoring.
  • Create firmware for sensor integration, power management, real-time monitoring, data acquisition, and fault handling.
  • Document and maintain embedded software following structured development processes.

General Responsibilities

  • Attend engineering meetings, record minutes, and support cross-department communication.
  • Assist with other engineering tasks as required by supervisors.
  • Perform duties in accordance with safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies.

Requirements:

Education:

  • Completion of an Electrical / Electronics Engineering Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in PCB design software such as Altium Designer (preferred), KiCad, or equivalent.
  • Experience with microcontrollers (STM32 preferred), embedded C/C++, and firmware debugging tools.
  • Knowledge of LV and HV electrical systems, DC power systems, and battery safety standards.
  • Experience with communication protocols including CAN, RS485, UART, I2C, SPI.
  • Familiarity with electrical CAD tools (Visio, SolidWorks Electrical) and mechanical CAD integration.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for data analysis.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Lead Generator Specialist to support our Carbon Credit Program. This 2-month contract role focuses on initiating contact through outbound calls/emails, and identifying potential clients that are interested in selling their carbon credits. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, organized, and able to work independently to achieve weekly targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls/emails from a list of prospects.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions.

• Meet or exceed weekly call volumes, lead generation, and conversion targets.

• Provide feedback on lead quality, call outcomes, and common objections.

• Represent the company professionally and follow communication guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or sales support preferred.

Foreseeson is looking for a Software Development intern to join its ToEP team. As a Software Development intern, you will work in a cross functional team of 4 to 8 team members, reporting to the software project lead, and communicating with an additional offshore team. You will work closely with your team and mainly develop components for the EMS and EVSE Division. You will collaborate on product and architectural design, while improving the quality and frequency with which we release innovative and enhanced product features.

Your primary key performance indicator will be the quality of code delivered by you. Additionally, you will be measured on the speed and efficiency with which you deliver software releases.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the Company’s operational processes across its divisions
  • Work with the team to design and develop automated processes, refactor legacy infrastructure, and establish test plans
  • Collaborate on new projects with AI integration and cloud infrastructure
  • Improve processes with respect to features, efficiency and reliability

Requirements

  • Recently completed BS or currently pursuing MS/PHD in Computer Science or related field

We are expanding the business and are looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager who can independently generate leads, break into new markets, and deliver measurable results fast to join with our Electronic Manufacturing team.

OVERVIEW:

As the Sales Manager – EMS Division, your primary mission will be to generate and convert qualified sales leads in target industries and deliver at least $1 million in new business annually. You will work independently to identify opportunities, pursue key accounts, and build long-term relationships — with full support from our internal technical and operations teams.

This is a hunter role, ideal for a self-starter with proven experience in EMS or electronics-related B2B sales who thrives on results and autonomy.

ROLE& RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify, research, and pursue high-potential prospects in medical, automotive, industrial, and cleantech sectors.
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, LinkedIn outreach, industry networking, and attending trade shows or conferences.
  • Maintain high activity levels to generate new meetings weekly.

Market Penetration & Business Development

  • Strategically target OEMs, design houses, and product companies that align with Foreseeson’s EMS capabilities.
  • Understand customer pain points and position Foreseeson as the EMS partner of choice.
  • Proactively follow up and nurture long-term relationships with prospects and dormant accounts.

CRM Management & Sales Reporting

  • Use CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track leads, communications, activities, and opportunity stages.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reporting on pipeline, forecast, and key account progress.
  • Work closely with internal sales leadership to align on strategy and execution priorities.
  • May work occasionally on special projects.

KEY EXPECTATIONS:

  • Deliver a minimum of $1 million CAD in new sales within your first 12 months.
  • Develop a robust funnel of qualified leads within the first 90 days.
  • Independently manage your territory, prospects, and daily activities without constant supervision.
  • Be a visible and active participant in relevant industry circles and events.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in EMS, electronics manufacturing, or technical product/service sales.
  • Demonstrated success in breaking into new accounts and verticals.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of EMS business models and the needs of OEM customers.
  • Ability to communicate value in a technical and consultative sales environment.
  • Exceptional communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent).

Other Requirements

  • Ability to travel for client meetings, events, and trade shows as needed.
