Foreseeson Powers the Future of EV Charging Across Northern BC

Foreseeson is proud to successfully support completion of the Charge North Project, a ground breaking initiative spearheaded by the Community Energy Association in collaboration with six Northern and Interior BC regional districts. As the successful bidder for this ambitious project in 2022, Foreseeson EVSE deployed and installed over 40 ChargePoint CT4000 stations across Northern BC, including in First Nation Communities.

Connecting Communities Across 2,800 km of Highways

This extensive network of EV charging stations spans 2,800 km of highways, linking communities from Logan Lake to Fort Nelson and from Haida Gwaii to the Robson Valley, an area equivalent in size to the entire country of Italy. The installations included some of the most remote regions in BC, such as the Nisga’a Valleys and Stewart, located near the Alaska and Yukon border. This achievement underscores Foreseeson's commitment to sustainability and community connectivity, proving our capability to deliver complex infrastructure solutions across vast and challenging terrains.

Driving Emissions-Free Travel

The Charge North network's impact is profound. Based on energy usage and charging session data provided by Foreseeson from the ChargePoint Dashboard, the Community Energy Association calculated that the network is capable of enabling 1 million kilometres of emissions-free travel. This is the equivalent of driving arounddrivingaround Canada more than 120 times, significantly reducing carbon emissions and supporting a cleaner, greener future.

Setting New Standards in EV Infrastructure

This project is a testament to Foreseeson's unparalleled capacity to deploy extensive EV charging networks in vast and remote areas.
